In the first post about my “no-schedule schedule,” I shared about why making a schedule has been difficult for me.  (Now is a great time to go read it so you can better understand some of the techniques I’ll mention in this series.)  Now that I know that, how can I help you get your schedule under control?

We’ve all been there… overwhelmed by everything we “need” to get done and trying (and often failing) to fit it all in with balance.  But what if I told you this?  Continue reading

Are you a working mom?  A stay at home mom?  A work from home mom?  No matter what your mommy days look like, we know that there is often more to do that we think there are hours to do them in.

Loved this photo from christinadwyer.com

Last year, I wrote about time stealers and choices.  I knew Continue reading

One of fun parts about playing on social media sites like Facebook, is slightly torturing your friend and family.  Last week, I had a blast keeping everyone in suspense for our 2nd and final gender reveal.  After posting an ultrasound pic that only experienced techs would have been able to read… and NOT telling the answer… I made everyone wait out the day so I could do something fun, teasing here and there that we were picking up the balloons, heading to the location, etc.

It's a boy? or is it a girl? Let's go find out!

If you’ve been on Pinterest, you’ve possibly seen some of the great ideas out there.  I wanted to do a photo shoot, but with hubby working and me taking the pics, the job of revealing baby #2′s gender fell to big sister, who happily took the job since it involved playing with balloons.  Thank you to my friend Wendy of Stars Above Balloons for the last minute balloon order to make this shoot happen.

Ready to know if the princess remains the one and only or has to share the throne? Continue reading

“Compress a 30-50 year career into 3-5 years.” I hear this a lot from the leaders at Rodan + Fields Dermatologists. They talk about all of the time freedom that this opportunity offers. Flexible schedules, quit the 9-to-5, etc. I then saw a recent Facebook post from our top earner about working hard and making sacrifices now, to have more time and financial freedom later. Easy when it’s just you and your hubby and he works alongside you. A little more challenging when you have kids and/or a hubby that has his own career.

At the same time, in my mastermind group, I am partnered this month with someone who believes Continue reading

Nope, I’m not dead… just pregnant!

I have survived the first trimester and fingers are crossed that the nausea and exhaustion will ease soon so I can get back to connecting with you more regularly. To all the pregnant women dealing with morning sickness and holding down a 9-to-5, you are my heroes. I currently have no idea how I did it the first time around… and working with toddlers with autism all day at that. I am beyond grateful that I control my schedule as a work from home mom this time around, because naps aren’t a luxury… they’re a necessity. And they often happen whether I want them to or not.

Because of this, my work hours have been reduced and my writing time more than limited. I am committed to getting back into the swing of things. This includes getting back to my Zumba classes, writing more for all of you, putting together some fun specials, and working on my book again. I’m thinking the book and the baby are now in the running for who will be born first!

To my faithful fans who have been wondering where I’ve gone, I’m here… barely, but here. To my new fans, please bear with me as I try to get back into the swing of things.

And don’t forget to follow me on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/themomMEproject), since that is the easiest for me to maintain on a regular basis!!

PS – I’ll be posting a gender pic this week so you can all take a guess for boy/girl!
